IMAGES GUIDE
USE SCALE SHOTS
A scale shot visually communicates the size of your product. Buyers can’t try your items, so it’s important to give them all the details they need visually. For example, users can know what an enamel pin looks like on a real lapel, if that knit hat fits an infant or an adult, or if that vase holds one bloom or a whole bouquet.
Remember that it is not possible to estimate the size of a product on a solid colour background and with no objects around it.
Scale shots introduce a second item into the photograph that helps user get a better sense of your product’s size and dimensions.
Placing your product in a natural setting can help you show its exact size.
